ADHD Therapy
You’re struggling to stay afloat. You’re sailing this beautiful, messy, chaotic (yet probably very creative) ship (or minivan) unsure of where you’re headed. It feels like you’re gaining water, the ship is getting heavier, and every light on your control panel is blinking and beeping red for your attention (and you don’t know what to respond to first!). Life with young children is incredibly difficult, but if you are one of the 8 million adults who also struggles with ADHD, parenting and sailing your ship is ANYTHING but smooth. ADHD is daunting, exhausting and often demoralizing. The inner critic inside you shines a spotlight at every single shortcoming and fault, convincing you that you are not enough and that others can “do life” way better than you. Nothing, I repeat, nothing, is further from the truth. You are enough and you are not alone. We are all in desperate need of grace, especially those of us with ADHD. I understand the beauty and challenges of ADHD inside and out. ADHD alongside parenting presents an even more complex challenge, and I am here to help you learn how to navigate ADHD and build your self-esteem and confidence. Together, we will work to tame the inner critic that holds you back from success. As a former teacher, I can also help teens navigate school accommodations and 504 plans.

Anxiety Therapy
Do you feel like your brain is always “on” and you can’t turn it off? Wish you could take your brain out for a second and experience just a minute of peace? Are you spending more mental energy worrying about things you’ve said or done in the past and find it difficult to enjoy the present? Maybe you find yourself constantly in the future worried about the worst case scenarios that could possibly happen. Let’s work together to process these stuck points and find strategies to manage your anxiety and find more mental freedom, flexibility and as a result, more mental energy throughout the day.

Pregnancy/Postpartum/Parenting Stress
Kids are joyfully exhausting. Whether you’re having difficulty trying to conceive, grieving the loss of a pregnancy, experiencing stress during your pregnancy, or just brought home your new little one— I am here to support you along each step of the rollercoaster journey. I love working with new parents as they learn more about themselves, their partner, and their children. I have experience working with couples experiencing infertility, miscarriage, and those navigating high-risk pregnancies. Maybe your wee-one is now a “threenager” and you want to learn effective parenting strategies. Let’s work together to process the new rhythm of your life and how to maintain your sense of identity (and sanity!).

Christian Counseling
I am very grateful to be able to offer Christian counseling to those who desire it.

I am particularly fond of working with those who are unsure of or questioning their spirituality, or who have “grown up in the church” and then left it and are still looking for something “more” than what their “religion” offers. I focus on helping others learn about and develop a relationship with Jesus over religion and rules.
